Spaulding Outpatient Center of Kent Hospital Providence Hosts 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Children with Special Needs

Pawtucket, RI — On Saturday, March 23, the Spaulding Outpatient Center of Kent Hospital’s Providence location (100 Butler Dr, Providence, RI) hosted a complimentary Easter egg hunt for children with special needs. The rehabilitation center, along with many local organizations, planned the special Easter egg hunt for the enjoyment of children with special needs and their families.

The event was at the Spaulding Outpatient Center of Kent Hospital Providence on the Butler Hospital campus. It featured games, Easter Bunny and Princess photo opportunities, face painting, crafts, refreshments, and of course the egg hunt!

“Our goal is to ensure the Easter egg hunt is accessible and fun for every child. The comments we receive from the children and their parents each year are so positive. They have said how much fun their child had interacting with the princesses, how many eggs they found, and how they loved the prizes they won.  It puts a smile on everyone’s face seeing them having such an amazing time,” said Luke Davis, the Regional Director of Spaulding Rehab Services at Care New England.
