Providence, RI — Spaulding Outpatient Center of Kent Hospital hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for Children with Special Needs on Saturday, March 28th. The rehabilitation center, along with many local organizations, planned the special Easter Egg Hunt for the enjoyment of children with special needs and their families.
“Our goal is to create a joyful and inclusive experience where every child feels celebrated and able to participate,” said Luke Davis, MBA, OTR/L, Regional Director, Rehabilitation Services, Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, Care New England. “Events like this bring families together and remind us how important it is to create spaces where all children can have fun and make lasting memories.”
The event was held at the Spaulding Outpatient Center of Kent Hospital, on the Butler Hospital campus. There were games, Easter Bunny and Princess photo opportunities, face painting, crafts, and refreshments. Each activity is organized to accommodate sensory, mobility, and accessibility needs.
