A message from Carolyn Jackson, President and COO of Kent Hospital:

carolyn-jacksonAs we celebrate Kent Hospital’s 75th year of service to the greater Warwick community, I’m excited to share the details of a transformative construction project at Kent Hospital designed to modernize the campus, expand clinical capacity, and bring enhanced services to the community.

The project will include:

  • Construction of a new 3-story, 90,000 square foot ambulatory services building that will feature a new lobby entrance to both the hospital and the outpatient buildings
  • Expansion of the Cardiac Catheterization Suite, adding a third Cath Lab and creating a larger patient recovery area.
  • Renovation of the Emergency Department to enlarge and enhance the Triage, Express Care, and behavioral health areas, upgrade and relocate a Computerized Tomography (CT) Suite.

This investment reflects our deep commitment to the health and well-being of our community. As demand for care continues to grow, this project ensures we are prepared to meet that need not just for today, but for generations to come.

Kent will remain fully operational during this project, with careful planning in place to minimize disruption to patients and visitors. The project is anticipated to be completed in 2028.
