Care New England Opens New Pharmacy in Pawtucket, RI, Enhancing Patient Access to Medications

(Pawtucket, RI) – Care New England Health System (CNE) is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest pharmacy location at 111 Brewster Street in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 8 a.m. This new facility will provide patients of CNE providers with a convenient option for filling their prescriptions, furthering CNE’s commitment to comprehensive and accessible healthcare services.

“The opening of our new pharmacy location in Pawtucket marks an important step in expanding access to essential medications and personalized care for our community. At Care New England, we remain committed to improving health outcomes by bringing high-quality, convenient pharmacy services closer to all of our patients, statewide,” said Michael Wagner, MD, FACP, President and CEO of Care New England.

Patients of CNE providers will have the convenience of filling their prescriptions at the new location, supporting better medication adherence and overall health outcomes.

“We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new Care New England Pharmacy within our ambulatory services building in Pawtucket. This is just one more step in our ongoing commitment to improving patient care and making healthcare more accessible in the communities we serve,”  said Jennifer LaLuz, Executive Director of Operations at Kent Hospital.

“Our goal is to make medication access as simple and seamless as possible for our patients,” said Brian Musiak, Pharm.D, MBA, CPEL, Vice President of Pharmacy at Care New England. “We are committed to meeting the pharmaceutical needs of our patients with efficiency and care.”

The new pharmacy will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed for lunch 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m).
