Beginning with the campaign that built Kent Hospital, community members have given generously to ensure the best health care for family, friends and neighbors. This philanthropic spirit is the cornerstone of Kent’s history and is vital for its future. Through their giving, our donors launch exciting new programs and services, enhance essential patient care facilities and help us secure the latest advancements in technology.
With so many changes in health care, our donors want to be sure that their gifts will continue to be directed to local health care priorities and initiatives. To provide that assurance, we formed the Kent Hospital Foundation, which was incorporated on November 29, 2000. The Foundation’s Board of Directors oversees the growth and development of the Hospital’s endowment as well as ensures that all gifts to Kent Hospital continue to benefit our patients now and in the future.
Join the Tribute Brick Campaign for the Plaza of Honor
Established to honor Kent County's World War II veterans, Kent Hospital has served the community by providing quality health care since 1951. As a tribute to the hospital's past, present, and future, the Plaza of Honor commemorates those who have served in the United States Armed Forces and honor other members of the Kent Hospital community.
Located on the hospital's north campus, the plaza features three stately flagpoles, personalized bricks, and other fixtures to permanently commemorate the Kent Hospital community. With as little as $150, you have the opportunity to become a part of Kent Hospital's history. You can inscribe your name(s), pay tribute to members of the United States Armed Forces, or celebrate a loved one or your special connection to the hospital.

It is important for you to know that all prior and future gifts, bequests and endowments will remain the assets of the affiliate to whom they were donated. In addition, they will remain under the exclusive direction and control of the governing body holding the assets.
