Robert G. Dinwoodie, DO
joined the medical staff at Kent Hospital in August, 2000 as Chairman of the Emergency Department Residency trained and Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Dinwoodie also holds an MBA in healthcare administration.
As a member of the faculty for Kent Hospital’s Emergency Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Dinwoodie is actively engaged in clinical teaching of residents and medical students, as well as administration of the Emergency Department.
Additionally, as one of seven hyperbaric medicine physicians at Kent, Dr. Dinwoodie is active in the hospital’s emergency hyperbaric program and serves as the Program Director for Kent Hospital’s Fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Dinwoodie has been designated as Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Additionally, he sits on the Rhode Island Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline and is a Fellow of the Federation of State Medical Boards.
