Fifty-three physicians at Kent and Women & Infants hospitals named to RI Monthly's 2013 list of Top Docs.

Fifty-three physicians at Kent and Women & Infants hospitals, both Care New England affiliates, have been named to Rhode Island Monthly's 2013 list of Top Docs.The list appears in the May issue, now on newsstands.

Twenty-three doctors from Kent and 25 from Women & Infants, and five with privileges at both Kent and Women & Infants hospitals, were selected among the Top Docs. They include:

Critical Care Medicine – Drs. Thomas Raimondo and Ehsun Mirza; Endocrinology – Dr. Nathalie Campbell; General/Family Practice – Dr. Denise Arcand; Gynecologic Oncology – Drs. Skip Granai and Paul DiSilvestro; Hematology/Oncology – Dr. Sundaresan Sambandam; Infectious Diseases – Dr. David Lowe; Nephrology – Drs. Christopher Cosgrove and Charles McCoy; Neurology – Dr. Arshad Iqbal; Otolaryngology – Dr. Mark Andreozzi; Psychiatry – Dr. Robin Stern; Pulmonary Diseases – Dr. Thomas Raimondo; Radiation Oncology – Dr. Philip Maddock; Rehabilitation/Physical Medicine - Dr. Matthew Smith; Rheumatology – Drs. Virginia Parker and Harold Horwitz; Surgery: Breast – Drs. Candace Dyer and Jennifer Gass; Surgery: Cardiac/Thoracic – Dr. Laurie Reeder; Surgery: Neurosurgery – Dr. Maria Guglielmo; Surgery: Plastic/Reconstructive – Dr. David Barrall; Surgery: Urology – Dr. Alexander Calenda; and Surgery: Vascular – Dr. Guy Lancellotti.

Thousands of Rhode Island licensed physicians were sent a survey and asked to name the specialist they would choose if a family member or friend had a medical problem. The names that appeared most frequently on the survey make up the list of the state's 160 finest doctors, as voted by their peers.
