Kent's Hospitalist Program
Physicians who are not members of the medical staff and whose patients request admission to Kent Hospital for treatment may take advantage of our Hospitalist Program. This service is also available to Kent physicians who may prefer to have their patients’ in-hospital care managed by physicians specializing in acute and critical care.

Kent Hospitalists consists of intensivists, hospital-based internists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Our clinicians will provide your patients with high quality care and management throughout their hospital stay, while keeping you informed of their progress. Physicians may pre-arrange to have their patients cared for through the hospitalist program. Services range from critical to general care. Medical and critical care consults, medical evaluations, pre-operative evaluations and general coverage alternatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hospitalist physicians keep the personal physician abreast of their patient's condition throughout the hospital stay. Patients are discharged to the care of their personal physician with a complete discharge summary of the care provided.
