Thank you for visiting our website. This page has been designed to provide important information for those in our community who are facing difficult decisions about their cancer care, or the care of a loved one.
At Kent hospital, the mission of the Cancer Program is to provide our patients with the best quality care, in compliance with national standards set by the American College of Surgeons, and in a most compassionate fashion that promotes healing and hope. Our focus is to give our patients the best chance for a cure whenever possible, applying evidence based medicine and using the most advanced technology available. Our social workers, nutritionists, palliative care service, cancer rehabilitation program and many other services strive to meet the various needs of all our patients, those who are undergoing active treatment, others who are cancer free and in recovery and those, less fortunate, with advanced or recurrent cancer. We also provide our patients with the opportunity to participate in some of the clinical research studies being conducted across the country giving them access to promising treatments that have not yet been approved for widespread use.
We hope you find much of what you may be searching for, here on our site. If you have any questions or would like help or information regarding your specific case, please feel free to call us anytime.
