Kent's registered dietitians work together with the health care team to achieve positive patient outcomes. A registered dietitian evaluates every admitted patient for nutritional risk, education needs, and appropriate outpatient follow-up for medical nutrition therapy.
While you are a patient at Kent Hospital, a registered dietitian provides nutritional information specific to your medical nutritional needs. For some conditions, such as diabetes, they may encourage you to attend follow-up education programs after discharge, to ensure a healthy recovery. You can also visit the American Dietetic Association for additional educational resources.

Your meal trays are delivered by our well-trained nutrition service staff at each mealtime, and they will ensure you are receiving food that is nutritious and to your liking.
