completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University in 2003 and subsequently joined the Medical Staff at Kent Hospital where he practices exclusively in the Emergency Department.
He became board certified in Emergency Medicine in 2004. Initially a partner in a private group providing emergency medical services at Kent Hospital, he recently joined Affinity Physicians, and has been actively involved in initiatives to improve patient safety, communication between Emergency Department providers, and ultimately, the efficiency and quality of care provided to patients of our community.
He has been a member of the teaching faculty for the Kent Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program since its inception in 2008, and won the faculty teaching award for the program in 2009.
In 2011, he acted as the assistant Chief of the Emergency Department, and was promoted to the Department Chief in 2012.
