Benjamin Bauer, MD
is a board certified family physician who was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended Tufts University for college, Boston University for graduate school, and Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, for medical school.
Dr. Bauer specialized in family medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. After residency he worked for both the Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine Departments at Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Bauer joined Primary Medical Group of Warwick in August 2014, providing outpatient primary care. He is also a clinical assistant professor of family medicine at Brown University.
Dr. Bauer’s clinical interests include: family medicine and preventive care, minor dermatology procedures (skin biopsies, wart removal), joint injections for arthritic pain, contraceptive management and IUD placement.
